Assalamualaikum. Here FnF would like to share some common question and answer about Islam. FnF had the opportunity in finding answer to which FnF had been ask. But at that time, FnF could not answer in a correct way. So, FnF search and found some good answers. Hope it helps the Muslims and Non-Muslim around the world.

Q:

Why don't Muslim eat pork? (a.k.a. : Why Allah refrain Muslim from eating pork?, etc.)


A:

In the Quran and Hadith, Allah has build a guideline for food. Food which has been and will always be  forbidden is due to the fact that it is very harmful to the human body. Among those food, pork is one of them.

"He has forbidden you only meat of a dead animal, blood, flesh of swine, and any animal which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for other than Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful".

(Al-Baqarah: 173)

Eating pork gives you no less than 70 different types of deceases. A pork eater can have various helminthes (roundworm, pinworm, hookwor, etc.). The most dangerous is Taenia Solium (tapeworm). It harbors in the intestine and is very long. Its ova i.e. eggs, enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. If it enters the brain it can cause memory loss. If it enters the heart it can cause heart attack, if it enters the eye it can cause blindness, if it enters the liver it can cause liver damage. It can damage almost all the organs of the body. Some diseases caused by pork in detail:

Pork contains more fats than other meat. Therefore, people who are fond of pork are more obese than others. Cholesterol is higher in their blood thus making them more prone to asthereosclerosis cardiovascular accidents and sudden death.

Flesh of the pork is hard to digest and may lead to chronic digestive disturbances. Pimples, boils, cysts are common in pork eaters.

Pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth. It lives and thrives on muck, feces and dirt. They eat and enjoy their own as well as their neighbor's excreta.

Sun Rise

Rasullullah s.a.w has thought us a doa to supplicate when the sun rise. Here is the doa.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَقَالَنَا يَوْمَنَا هَذَا وَلَمْ يُهْلِكْنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا

"All praise to Allah who has forgiven us today and not destroyed us due to our sin"

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

"God does not impose on any soul a responsibility beyond its ability. Every soul receives whatever it gains and is liable for whatever it does. Lord, do not hold us responsible for our forgetfulness and mistakes. Lord, do not lay upon us the burden that You laid on those who lived before us. Lord, do not lay on us what we cannot afford. Have mercy on us. You are our Lord. Help us against the unbelievers"

"Allah tidak membebani seseorang melainkan sesuai dengan kesanggupannya. Dia mendapat pahala dari kebajikan yang dikerjakannya dan mendapat seksa dari kejahatan yang diperbuatnya. (mereka berdoa), Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah hukum kami jika kami lupa atau kami melakukan kesalahan. Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau bebani kami dengan beban yang berat sebagaimana yang Engkau bebankan kepada orang-orang sebelum kami. Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah engkau pikulkan kepada kami sesuatu yang tidak sanggup kami memikulnya. Maafkanlah kami, ampunilah kami, dan rahmatilah kami. Engkaulah pelindung kami, maka tolonglah kami menghadapi orang-orang kafir."

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 286)

Doa Ditimpa Musibah

Disini FnF ingin berkongsi sepotong hadis tentang doa ditimpa musibah. Harap dapat kita memanfaatkannya.

Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda
       "Doa orang yang ditimpa bencana iaitu"

اَللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُوْ،فَلاَ تَكِلْنِيْ إِلَى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ،وَأَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَأْنِيْ كُلَّهُ،لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ 

"Ya Allah, rahmat-Mu aku harapkan, maka janganlah Engkau bebankan pada diriku walau sekejap mata pun (urusan-urusan tersebut) dan perbaikilah segala urusanku, tidak ada Ilah yang berhak untuk diibadaahi dengan benar kecuali Engkau"

Selamat Maulidur Rasul

Sunnah Bangun Pagi 2

Mengusap Bekas Tidur Yang Ada Wajah dan Tangan
   Sunnah Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wa sallam artinya
   "Rasulullah bangun tidur kemudian duduk sambil mengusap wajahnya dengan tangannya"
   Hadis Riwayat Muslim no. 763

Bersiwak
   Sunnah Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wa sallam artinya
   "Adalah Rasulullah apabila bangun malam membersihkan mulutnya dengan bersiwak"

Beristintsaar (mengeluarkan/mengyemburkan air dari hidung sesudah menghirupnya)
   Sunnah Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wa sallam artinya

Mencuci Kedua Tangan Tiga Kali
   Sunnah Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wa sallam artinya
   "Bila salah seorang diantaramu bangun tidur, janganlah ia menyelamkan tangannya ke dalam bejana, sebelum ia mencucinya tiga kali"
